Dr. Thompson is originally from New Orleans, LA. She graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA with a B.S. in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.

Dr. Thompson enjoys exercising, spending time with her family, and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She is married to her husband and they have three children.
